Useless content adds nothing to search engines
I am a follower of quality content and so believe only in quality of content when it comes to seo. Why quality? Good question, let’s elaborate a bit. Suppose your page is full of keywords and phrases but that content is useless, means adds no value to readers then ultimately that content is useless so search engines and so search engines will be giving you “0″ value. Although, if your content is unique and adds great value to readers, then same will come true for search engines and so you’ll get handsome value.

Meta tags don’t add additional value to search engine optimization
Though meta keyword tag adds no more value to seo as it was filled with spammers and search engines stopped giving value to meta tags. Some of us are saying “meta tags adds no more value to seo” while its totally wrong. Matt Cutts of Google says description tag is still useful when it comes to seo. As search engines still show the snippet to searcher, on the other hand description tag gives a hook to your searcher that your content is relevant to what he/she needs. So always use meta tags to get good results.

Your keyword selection is important, without research your results may lost
Search engines indexes websites based on keywords being used. Not only keywords while the usage of these keywords is also important. Like usage of keywords throughout the page is counted and measured in different ways to index your page. The problem which I often note is that, individuals are targeting those keywords which are even not used in their page. So, always select your target keywords with proper research to achieve better results.

Flooding your keywords may lead to banned or spamming behavior
One very common problem with youngsters is that, they overdo seo. What overdo? Wait, it simply means they try to use their keywords almost anywhere in the document. Point to remember is that seo is not a science of doing; it’s an art of following. So, always try to be in human friendly approach, Use normal phrases and don’t flood your keywords as Google is banning these sort of spammers. Conclusion is that use natural, human readable/understandable language.

Google is the best search engine in the world, but that’s not the only thing.
My clients only loves to see their blog in first page of Google, while totally ignoring Yahoo, Bing and other search engines. Although Google is being used almost 70% of the whole web search, while remaining 30% is still a huge number. Because the traffic/results you are getting are by your previous goodwill and people are searching you, your brand, your name, and your products. On top of that, their mind set is ready to purchase your products or visit your page for required results. But in future it may not be so, anyone can do better than you, then you may be wondering what to do now? Getting more is better than getting nothing so stick to seo.

Paid links do good in start, but disappears you totally in the end
Search engines are only way to get results back from the web so never try to spam. After all we are all contributor to search engines as well. Very common practice is seen people go for paid links and no doubt do well in start but search engines like Google are finding these sort of links out and stamping these sites as spammers. Never spam please, do fair and do more and learn how search engine optimization works? then no need to spend even a single penny.

No more quantity, only quality matters now
Search engines like Google give value to quality over quantity. These days no need to get hundreds or thousands of back links from low quality websites while getting only few quality back links does the rest. According to Google’s new algorithm only quality of links matter not quantity, so old quantity rules are no more there.

Process of search engine optimization completed, no more needed
One thing to note is that search engine optimization is ongoing process and never ends. It’s common practice that we are getting good results means we have done good and now no more needed. On the other hand search engines are changing their algorithms day by day and it’s possible that your today’s better results may be useless in future. Thus never stop your SEO process and carry on.
