Error Handling for the MS Project Integration
Errors no longer stop you from importing an MS Project file. TrafficLIVE excludes the lines that caused the errors and gives you the specific MS Project Unique ID (UID) of the item that you need to correct.
For example, if there is a duplicate name, TrafficLIVE imports the first one, displays an error message saying that “UID xxx is a duplication,” and advises you to correct the issue in the original MS Project file.
Additional Fields / Data Added to the MS Project Integration
TrafficLIVE now maps the following data to Microsoft Project:
- Estimated Hours in TrafficLIVE to Baseline Work in Microsoft Project.
- Allocated Hours in TrafficLIVE to Work in Microsoft Project. (NOTE: If no allocated hours exist TrafficLIVE takes the values that it has for Work Hours.)
- Time on the allocation in TrafficLIVE to Actual Work in Microsoft Project. (NOTE: This needs an allocation, so independent time sheets are not included.)
