Atlas Prep Academy is a private SAT/ACT tutoring and college prep company with locations in three cities across Georgia. Their enrollment process was entirely manual -- parents had to call or visit to register, and class schedules were shared via PDF email attachments. Their website was a basic brochure site with static pages, no search visibility for educational keywords, and no way to showcase the quality of their instruction. With online tutoring platforms growing rapidly, they needed to modernize or risk losing students to digital-first competitors.
We designed and developed a comprehensive web platform that serves as both a marketing engine and an operational tool. The platform features a self-service enrollment and scheduling system, a content hub with free educational resources to build trust and SEO visibility, instructor profiles with credential verification, and a parent dashboard for managing schedules and communications.
Mapped the entire student enrollment journey from initial awareness through registration, identifying five key friction points where prospective families were dropping off in the manual process.
Built a Next.js platform with a multi-step enrollment flow: program selection, schedule availability viewer, student assessment intake form, and secure payment processing -- reducing the enrollment process from 3-5 days to under 10 minutes.
Created a content marketing hub publishing weekly study tips, test prep strategies, and college admissions guides, each targeting high-intent keywords that parents search when evaluating tutoring options.
Designed instructor profile pages with professional bios, qualifications, teaching philosophy, and parent reviews -- establishing credibility and helping families choose the right tutor.
Built a parent dashboard with real-time schedule viewing, session notes from instructors, progress tracking, and a secure messaging system for tutor-parent communication.
Implemented location-specific landing pages with LocalBusiness schema, Google Maps integration, and testimonials from local families, optimized for 'tutoring near [city]' search queries.
Set up conversion tracking across the full funnel: page views to enrollment starts to completed registrations, with UTM-based attribution to identify the highest-value marketing channels.
