CloudPulse Analytics is a Series A-funded startup offering a business intelligence platform for mid-market companies. Despite a strong product, they were struggling to generate inbound demand. Their existing website was a single-page React app with no SEO visibility, their blog had only 4 posts, free trial signups averaged 45 per month, and their trial-to-paid conversion sat at 8%. With a $2.1M annual revenue target from their investors, they needed to dramatically accelerate customer acquisition without an in-house marketing team.
We became CloudPulse's outsourced growth marketing team, rebuilding their web presence for conversion and search visibility, creating a comprehensive content engine, and managing multi-channel paid acquisition. The engagement covered website redesign, SEO, content marketing, PPC management, conversion rate optimization, and marketing analytics infrastructure.
Rebuilt the marketing site using Next.js with static generation for performance and SEO. Created dedicated landing pages for each product feature, use case, and target industry vertical.
Developed a conversion-optimized page architecture: clear value propositions above the fold, social proof sections with customer logos and metrics, interactive product demos, and strategically placed trial signup CTAs.
Built a content marketing engine producing 8 pieces per month: in-depth comparison guides (CloudPulse vs. competitors), data analysis tutorials, industry benchmark reports, and thought leadership articles targeting decision-maker keywords.
Launched Google Ads campaigns targeting high-intent keywords ('business intelligence software,' 'BI tool for mid-market') and LinkedIn Ads targeting VP/Director-level prospects in target industries.
Implemented full-funnel analytics using Segment, Mixpanel, and Google Analytics 4 to track every touchpoint from first visit through trial signup through paid conversion, enabling data-driven optimization at each stage.
Ran systematic A/B tests on the trial signup flow, testing form fields, page layouts, CTA copy, and social proof placement. Iterated weekly based on statistical significance.
Created a lead nurturing email sequence for trial users with onboarding tips, feature highlights, and case studies, integrated with their product usage data to send contextually relevant messages.
Monthly recurring revenue grew from $87K to $296K over 8 months, a 240% increase.
