Sheet Editor is a WordPress plugin that lets you edit posts, pages, custom post types, and WooCommerce products in a spreadsheet interface. Instead of opening each item individually, you can edit hundreds of rows at once with inline cells, keyboard navigation, advanced filters, CSV/Excel import/export, and AI-powered bulk generation.
Three differences. First, full WooCommerce support (variations, attributes, prices, stock) is included in the base license, not gated behind a higher tier. Second, ACF and other custom-field plugins work in the spreadsheet view out of the box. Third, AI bulk operations (generate meta descriptions, rewrite titles, regenerate alt text) are built in — you do not need a separate tool.
Yes. Any post type registered with the standard WordPress API shows up as a sheet. Custom taxonomies, custom fields, and meta values can all be added as columns.
Yes. Variations appear as child rows under the parent product. You can edit prices, stock, SKUs, attributes, and metadata directly on the variation row — or filter the sheet to show variations only.
Edits are saved per row, not per cell, so you can undo before save. After save, you can restore from your normal WordPress backup. We recommend exporting the affected sheet to CSV before any destructive bulk operation — the export is a one-click safety net.
Upload a CSV (or Excel file), map columns to WordPress fields — including custom fields and taxonomies — and the import creates or updates rows. Updates are matched by SKU, slug, or ID depending on your settings. Large imports run in batches so they do not exceed your server's PHP timeout.
Yes. The current sheet view — with all active filters applied — is what exports. So you can export just out-of-stock products, just drafts, just a specific category, etc.
Column-level bulk generation for: titles, meta descriptions, SEO titles, product short descriptions, alt text, and excerpt fields. You guide the operation with a prompt, the AI generates for the selected rows, and you review before saving. Each operation is logged so you can see exactly what changed.
The sheet view is paginated and loads rows on demand — the same way WP_List_Table does. Even with 50,000 products, the initial load shows just the first page; subsequent pages stream in. The plugin assets are only loaded on the sheet pages themselves, not across the rest of the admin.
Yes. ACF fields — including repeaters and groups — render as columns and edit inline. Meta Box and other field-plugin support ships out of the box.
One-time license fee per site, with optional yearly renewal for updates and support. There is no per-row or per-product limit, and no recurring fee beyond the renewal.
