Edit hundreds or thousands of WooCommerce products in a spreadsheet interface instead of one row at a time.
Editing one WooCommerce product at a time is bearable; editing two hundred is a slow disaster. This guide walks through bulk editing prices, stock, descriptions, and attributes across your WooCommerce catalogue using Webanto Sheet Editor.
Upload and activate the plugin from your WordPress admin (Plugins > Add New > Upload). Enter your license key when prompted.
Go to Sheet Editor > Products. You'll see every product in your catalogue rendered as a spreadsheet row, with default columns for SKU, title, price, stock, and status.
Click the column-picker icon to add fields like Regular Price, Sale Price, Description, Categories, Tags, and any custom attributes (ACF fields, Meta Box fields). Save the column set so it persists.
Use the filter bar to narrow the sheet: by category, by stock status (in stock vs out), by price range, or by any custom field. The current filter view is what subsequent operations apply to.
Click into any cell to edit. Use keyboard arrows to navigate. For bulk paste from Excel: select the source range in Excel, copy, then paste into the sheet. Webanto maps columns positionally.
Each row save is independent — there's no batch-save button. Edits commit as you tab off the cell. For large pastes, the sheet processes rows in the background and shows a progress indicator.
Before any destructive bulk operation, click Export > CSV. The CSV is your backup if you need to roll back.
Spot-check 3-5 edited products on your live storefront to confirm changes rendered correctly — particularly price changes that flow into product feeds and ads.
